Jeanne Jones is a painter from Houston, and works in her studio in the Silos within the Sawyer Yards Arts District. She is currently a part of the Glassell school Block program where she continues to thrive and grow as an artist. Her flower paintings are a favorite subject and are beautifully rendered. Working large, the flowers seem to grow more beautiful in the scale she has chosen, this allows the paintings to have a fantastic impact. Frequently working from life, you will find Jeanne’s studio filled with exotic and beautiful flowers. Jeanne was gracious enough to come in to talk to me about her current projects including new representation by Jack Rabbit Gallery, and shows in Sawyer Yards . You can find Jeanne in her Silos Studio 112 every 2nd Saturday and by appointment.
