Chris Silkwood is  resident artist at the Winter Street Studios located within the Sawyer Yards Arts District, she opens her (garage) door every 2nd Saturday 12-5 inviting guests to peruse her beautiful mosaic art pieces.  Chris studied with master mosaic artists in Australia, and has tried to remain true to the ancient origins of the genre but with a modern flair.  Her pieces reveal her success in that endeavor.  Currently Chris has a prestigious show at the Total Plaza Lobby located at 1201 Louisiana Street until May 14 8-6p.
